Just helpin!

Welcome back to my blog, a place where you can read about my children's adventures and realize that your own kids may not be so bad after all. Or maybe my blog will be a source of birth control for some.  Perhaps some will be able to relate to the antics of which I will write and will get a laugh out of this blog. Whatever your reasons for reading, thank you, thank you for writing and commenting,Thank you for the  encouragement and prayers and welcome back, sorry it has been so long since I was able to update you on the joys of this adventure we call motherhood! Let's catch up:)

These last couple of weeks have been nothing short of interesting. Last week started much like any other. While I made everyone breakfast and got Ella dressed and ready for a day of chasing her brothers, playing vacuum across the living room floor and tormenting boo, Jaxon used  maple syrup, to paint a lovely fresco on the dining room wall. In an effort to redirect his energy, I gave him the job of getting me a diaper and some wipes so I could change  Ellas diaper. That’s a simple enough task, right? After several minutes, I came to the conclusion that Jax had gotten distracted and it could be days before he remembered to bring me a diaper so I went to get it myself. As I opened the door to  Ella's room, the stench of diaper cream permeated the air. I saw Jax and Timmy literally covered in white goo. His hair was white, his cheeks were white, his arms were white, floor, and walls were slathered in the thick, white cream. Wonderful! I learned, after washing his hair 2 times( and Timmy's), that you never, ever, never, ever leave diaper cream within a toddler’s reach( not as bad as petroleum jelly).Never the less, it must be kept locked up in the garage with the cleaning supplies, rat poison,Petroleum Jelly and weed killer. I also learned that diaper cream will never come out of clothing. Ever. Good for me, Jaxon isn't a fan of clothes, so he was in a pair of underwear only!
I spent the better part of an hour scrubbing the walls and carpet in Ella's room. Meanwhile, Jax had moved on to bigger and better things. He went into the bathroom and for reasons, known only to him, poured a full bottle of shampoo into the toilet and gave timmy another bath(yes,in the toilet). How nice. After cleaning up the diaper cream, I went into the bathroom to do damage control there. I simply asked, Jaxon, why did you get into the diaper cream and soap? His reply was simple, "Just helpin." Okay, well thanks Jaxon. How do I argue with that? Especially with that sweet tiny voice, big blue eyes and precious smile. Remember when I blogged a while back that I had to go to my"could be worse moment" yes well I went to it and diaper cream isnt really that bad in the grand scheme of it all. Also, this was the 2nd week in a row Jaxon hasnt' cut his hair or anyone else's, so I considered it a good couple of weeks! Well, good  couple of weeks for me i guess. Jaxon's in to playing pranks on Ayden.....I won't go into full details, but lets just say that I wouldn't suggest you leave a drink sitting around unguarded in Jaxon's care. One might find something they rather not in their drink....(poor Ayden) Also, within the last two weeks Jaxon discovered Ella is "missing" something........ that has been fun explaining! Also, the boys vocabulary has been growing. They try to use new words every day and sometimes we get a little mixed up. Like Ayden asking me while headed for a sonic drink," Mom is this the right perfection " hmmmm....i tried not to laugh, but it was worth a good laugh or two! Also Jaxons new favorite saying when he likes something is," That's slap yo momma good." (tks Preston) and Ella now says dada, bubba and momma! Although dada is her primary word and momma only comes out when she is in a fit of rage! I take what I can get though! Ella recently has realized she loves kissing! Especially kissing her brothers, when her brothers have been eating chocolate brownies and she licks it off of their faces! A cute moment I caught on video! Some day we will look back at those moments and be so glad we recorded them and took the pictures we did. Although when I take pics now or video the boys remind me they are sick of pictures!
Ayden and Jaxon start school soon:( I'm sad. I hate when they are away from me. Ayden thankfully will only be gone half a day and Jaxon will just be gone a cpl days a week( he informed me he would go to school, but for just 36 seconds a day)lol! Still, never easy telling them bye at the door! I am looking forward to some time with Ella, just the two of us, but I'm sure she will feel lost without her bubbas each day! She is completely in love with the two of them! She is growing and changing so much! She is standing some on her own, attempting to walk, her hair is coming in full of curls, she loves seeing other babies and interacting, she has two teeth on bottom and two that just came in on top, and she is nearly 10 months old already. She is the kindest, happiest most loving baby. She has a lot of Ayden's temperament and patience, with Jaxon's constant ability to find something to get into, even when I feel like the room is completely baby proofed! She is a mommas girl, but has daddy and her bubba's wrapped around her finger! She is queen bee and I wouldn't have it any other way! Each day is such an adventure with these 3! I'm so thankful God chose me to be apart of these precious lives! I'll update more tomorrow, but for now I need to shower before anyone wakes up!!
